Once you are inside the shuttles you will immediately notice that their fleet is outdated and at times unclean since that shuttle has been going back and forth from Orlando to Port Canaveral several times that day. Our fleet is newer (we change our vehicles every 2 or 3 years at most) and is meticulously maintained.
- The shuttle service does not offer a personalized drop off at Port Canaveral. Our driver will pull up right next to the cruise ship and have the cruise line’s luggage crew take your luggage and deliver it right to your room.
- Our state of the art vehicles have refreshments (our limousines are fully stocked with ice, water and sodas) and you can play your favorite DVDs or music via the iPod adapter as you relax during your almost one hour journey from Orlando to Port Canaveral (available on Escalade ESV SUVs and Limousines – not available on Town Car and Luxury Van).
- The shuttle service does not offer transportation to Port Canaveral after 2pm from Orlando International Airport. This does not bode well for you if your flight is delayed or arrives after that time. - The shuttle service does not offer a personalized and customized tour package to Kenney Space Center, Coach Beach or other great places for you to visit after your trip.

- There is no travelling through city traffic
- In 1982, M/V Scandinavian Sea became the first homeported cruise ship offering cruises to nowhere and sailing from a used cargo warehouse that was called Terminal 1.
- In 1984, Premier’s Starship Royale (Big Red Boat) partnered with Walt Disney World for 3 and 4 day cruises to the Bahamas.
- In 1989, Carnival cruise line arrived at Port Canaveral. Today, Carnival homeports the Sensation and Glory at Canaveral. The Carnival Dream, the largest Carnival ship ever, started homeporting at Canaveral in December 2009.
- Canaveral is the homeport of Disney Cruise Lines with the Disney Magic (July 1998 arrival) and the Disney Wonder (August 1998 arrival) sailing from exclusively built Disney Terminals. Disney will homeport two new ships at Port Canaveral with the first to arrive in 2011 and the second in 2012.
Recommended things to do after your Cruise
- If you have a late flight departure from Orlando Airport, we can recommend many great things for you and your family to do. The MCO Hyatt hotel located right inside the Orlando Airport, has great day rates available for cruisers who are looking to catch up on some sleep (who gets enough sleep on cruises these days?). If you would rather entertain the idea of one of the below options, rest assured that we can store your luggage at our facility for the day for a nominal extra charge.
- Visit one of the following parks: Disney’s Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Universal Studios, Sea World, Discovery Cove, a water park in the hot summer months. This will give you a change to see the theme park side of Orlando if you have not had a chance to do so.
- Visit the beautiful white sandy beaches of Cocoa Beach. The beaches are only about 15 minutes away from Port Canaveral, and if you are looking for some fun in the sun with some R&R, this is the place to be. Cocoa beach is a quaint beach town with many souvenir shops to do some last minute shopping.

This is a customer favorite! The average tour is about 4 hours and you will have the opportunity to learn more about NASA and the Space Shuttle program and see the actual launch pad for the Space Shuttle. If you are lucky, you may also see a rocket launch into space!
